Descriptions: Deqing County where the project site is located enjoys easy accessibility, with the railway, highway and inland water transportation available. It is only 5 kilometers away from Hangzhou-Nangjing expressway and 30 kilometers away from Shanghai-Hangzhou expressway, and only 45 kilometers away from Hangzhou, and less than 200 kilometers away from Shanghai, Nanjing and Suzhou. The No. 104 state highway and Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal pass through the county. At present the company is capable of producing 1000 tons of Zirconium Oxo-chlorination annually with matured production techniques. The advanced management ensures the quality of products. The products of the company are short in supply in the market, due to the high demand for the product. The project will enable the capacity to 20 thousand tons of Zirconium Oxo-chlorination.

Project Progress: The feasibility study for the project is under way.
Implementation of Project: The project is to build a new production plant with an annual capability of 30,000 tons mineral additives for feedstuff. The total investment of the project is about RMB 55 million, of which RMB 30 million is desired to be contributed by the foreign counterpart.

Cooperation Form: Joint Venture or Cooperative

Incentives: The Chinese party will be responsible for arrangement of the formalities for the project review and approval from the government authorities, and contribute its land and plant as well as related service.

Profile of the Chinese Counterpart: Zhejiang Deqing Dongli Group is a major enterprise with diversified business. Known as the production base of feedstuff additive assigned by the State Chemical Ministry and Ministry of Agriculture as well as the high technology enterprise of Zhejiang Province and the provincial leading agricultural enterprise, the company owns a total asset of RMB 130 million. In 2002 the annual turnover of the company was RMB 130 million with tax & profits RMB 17 million. In 2002 7,495 tons of its product Taihu No. 3 compound feedstuff additives for pre-mixture were sold out. The Dongli branded feedstuff additives have been awarded the provincial famous brand and famous product in the province.
